Our successes

  • Our nuts have won 2 gold stars in London!

    We are extremely happy because even the best chefs in the world have confirmed the inimitability of our Midsummer walnuts and have awarded them two out of three possible gold stars at the prestigious Great Taste Awards in London.
    The competition is regarded as being the Oscars of gastronomy, so the two gold stars can be compared to two Michelin stars awarded to a restaurant. However, we will not be resting on our laurels and continue to strive for other successful products. 

  • We have received the label Regional Food of South Moravia

    At the weekend harvest festival in Boskovice we received a double award from the South Moravian Regional Governor for our St. John's walnuts, these being “The Regional Food of South Moravia” and “Golden Taste of South Moravia”. The nuts are among the best local products from South Moravia this year.

  • Hops and almonds are the Taste of South Moravia

    At the regional groceries contest "Chuť jižní Moravy" (“Taste of South Moravia”), our products Young hop shoots and Hustopeče almonds were a great success and we can now use the “Taste of South Moravia” designation in connection with our goodies. 

  • The “Taste of Moravia” in Zdeněk Pohlreich's restaurants

    Probably our most well-known chef, Zdeněk Pohlreich, likes our Taste of Moravia delicacies and has included them on the menu of his newly-opened restaurant Next Door by Imperial. You now have the chance to try our young hop shoots, Midsummer walnuts or Hustopeče green almonds from the hands of this master chef.

  • St. John's walnuts won the Golden Salima

    In May 2016, we received the Gold Salima Award for our St. John's walnuts at the Brno Exhibition Centre from the Minister of Agriculture, Marián Jurečka. This award is all the more valuable to us as the St. John's walnuts won in one of the most heavily represented categories.
