Description of spruce jelly:
How do you get a Christmas tree into a jar? We answered this question by picking young spruce shoots, covering them with sugar and allowing them to steep for several months. With the addition of several other ingredients we then made this unconventional delicacy from the resulting syrup. There are no gifts under jelly, but it’s tastes delicious and is of health benefits.
